Prachtige originele pagina van het verhaal 'De Leeuw van Vlaanderen' door Bob De Moor. Het betreft pagina 6.

De eerste publicatie verscheen in het weekblad Kuifje / Le journal de Tintin in 1949/1950. Eerste albumpublicatie was in 1952 onder Standaard Uitgeverij. 

Opgekleefde Franse tekst. Paar oppervlakkige kreukjes.

Groot formaat album “De Leeuw van Vlaanderen / Le Lion de Flandre” (afmetingen, 33 x 45.5 cm), linnen rug, met daarin een originele pagina.
Er zijn slechts 80 genummerde exemplaren gedrukt, waarvan de eerste 40 vergezeld gaan van een originele pagina van het verhaal.
Het album dat in dit kavel wordt gepresenteerd, gaat vergezeld van de originele pagina 6 (zoals weergegeven).

In 1949 verscheen de eerste aflevering van “De Leeuw van Vlaanderen” in het weekblad “Kuifje” nr. 37.
Bob De Moor demonstreerde zijn talent met deze bewerking van de beroemde roman van Hendrik Conscience uit 1838.
Een jaar later zou De Moor gevraagd worden om bij Studio Hergé te komen werken, waar hij assistent van Hergé zou worden.

De meeste pagina's in dit album zijn exact overgenomen van de beschikbare originele tekeningen.
Oorspronkelijk was de tekst in het Nederlands. De Nederlandse tekst werd door Bob de Moor zelf vertaald voor een Franse albumuitgave in 1976 door Michel Deligne.
Daarom is het verhaal in dit album in het Frans.

Het album heeft aan de ene kant een Nederlandse en aan de andere kant een Franse hoes en bevat een artikel in zowel het Nederlands als het Frans.
