Willowbank distillery was built in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1974 but sadly got mothballed in 1997. The remaining 443 barrels of Willowbank whisky were bought by a company called the New Zealand Whisky Collection, who have been bottling them ever since. This is a 18 Year Old single blend from Willowbank, containing 70% malt and 30% grain whiskies. It was aged in American oak before being finished in French oak ex-New Zealand wine casks.
