Title: Dita Von Teese (ID: 81705.48 & C-06) Two signed and numbered collectors' cards. A young Dita Von Teese, prior to becoming a world renowned fashion icon, posed nude and bound in rope for the cover of Midori's book, The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, in San Francisco, 2001. The session was shot on film using a Hasselblad 500cm camera. The film grain and rope marks are quite visible in both of these images. These hand-made cards are printed by the photographer from the scanned original 120mm film negatives, on heavy-weight Exhibition Fiber art paper. Produced as special gifts for our print collectors, the cards are normally available only to accompany the purchase of larger exhibition prints. Signed in pencil, numbered with in archival ink, verso. These are both #4 of a limited edition of 100. Includes signed COA. Mint condition, never sold, buyer is acquiring direct from the artist's archive. Shipped unframed in sturdy reinforced packaging with archival acetate cover, from California via USPS First Class insured. Morey is an award winning and widely published American photographer (b. 1952) known for his portraits and erotic studio nudes - a founding director of San Francisco Camerawork Gallery, a contract photographer for Penthouse International in the 80’s and 90’s, featured twice on Playboy TV, and author of 9 monographs of erotic and nude art photography.
