Number of bottles 144 Cask 3054 Sherry Hogshead Tasting notes by George S. Grant: Rich old amber. A delightfully fruity nose amazing for a whisky over 50 years old. Toffee sweetness with a pear drop middle. A sit and savour whisky, every time I taste this whisky it slightly changes flavour. Some fruit, some sticky toffee pudding, coffee and sultanas. A real big finish, more sherry, more power. A finish that really does last for a long time. Another gem from 1961, it may be a great wine vintage, but it is also a great vintage from Glenfarclas.
