David Bowie ‎– David Bowie In Bertolt Brecht's Baal - is an EP by the English musician David Bowie from 1982, which was released as incidental music for the BBC television play "Baal". The EP contains five songs recorded for the play, which was an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's "Baal". The tracks on the EP are interpretations of songs written by Brecht and arranged by Dominic Muldowney for the production. Bowie plays the title role of Baal, a charismatic and morally ambivalent poet, and sings the songs in character. The music reflects the theatrical and experimental aspects of Bowie's work during this period, blending elements of rock, cabaret and avant-garde music.
