“It’s a romantic feeling for me, that these records are still valued by many people; that their lives continue, whether it be first pressings on a collectors shelf or bundled genre packages spinning on the turntable of a new enthusiast.”

Andrew grew up with a love of music and vinyl. As a child, he would dig through collections that belonged to his parents and uncle; the latter who left Andrew his music collection of obscure 70s progressive rock and metal, along with a few choice electric guitars, at the age of 15. That moment cemented his passion for music. Since then, not only has Andrew amassed an extensive collection of music, but he has played in a number of rock, metal, jazz & blues bands. He has become an avid reader and contributor to blogs dedicated to rare forms of 60s and 70s rock, and psychedelic rock. Andrew brings his expertise in the history of vinyl to Catawiki. He enjoys deepening his rapport with the music-loving community and looks forward to sharing his enthusiasm for collecting and his passion for vinyl with the Catawiki buyers and sellers.
