David Bowie – David Bowie - is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, which was released on June 1, 1967 by Deram Records. The album was originally titled "David Bowie" in the UK, but was released in the US as "Man of Words/Man of Music" due to confusion with Davy Jones' album of the same name, which had been released earlier in the US. The album contains a variety of musical styles, including folk, pop and psychedelic rock, and reflects the eclectic influences and experimentation that would become the hallmark of Bowie's career.
