Sculpture, Corpus Christi, 17th century - 63 cm - Wood
Wooden sculpture Corpus Christi with crown of thorns with iron nails. Looking at the hair style and the way the beard follows the jaw and chin (partly painted, also a mustache), the sculpture was presumambly made in Southern Europe or possibly colonial, ca 17th century.
The dark polychromy is of a later date, possibly the arms were renewed, some minor damage to the torso.
