This Ukiyo-e was designed by Mizuno Toshikata in meiji 24 period(1891).
This Ukiyo-e has 36 series.

Good condition
This series of works is one of Toshikata Mizuno's most representative ukiyo-e works.
This work depicts women's customs from the Muromachi period to the Edo period.
The title of ``Thirty-six Selections'' originally refers to the thirty-six poets who represent Japan, and this title is a play on that.

Toshikata Mizuno was born on March 6, 1866 as Mizuno Kumejiro in Tokyo. When he was 13 years old, his father sent him to the printmaking school of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. He was also apprenticed to a ceramic painter. And later he was instructed in traditional Japanese painting by Shibata Hoshu and Watanabe Seitei.
