Asia - Asia / Legend Debut Album In Great Condition For Collectors - LP - 1st Pressing - 1982

The progressive rock band "Asia" was founded in 1981 and consisted of top-class musicians who had previously played in other well-known bands in the genre. The founding members were John Wetton (bass, vocals), Steve Howe (guitar), Geoff Downes (keyboards) and Carl Palmer (drums). Each of these members had previous experience in bands such as Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, King Crimson and The Buggles. The self-titled debut album "Asia" was released in 1982 and was a huge success. It included hits like "Heat of the Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell." The album was characterized by catchy melodies, well-thought-out arrangements and the band members' technical skills. Asia's style can be described as AOR (Album-Oriented Rock) with progressive elements. The music combined catchy hooks with complex structures typical of progressive rock. After the successful debut album, Asia released further albums such as "Alpha" (1983) and "Astra" (1985). Although the line-up changed over the years and the band experienced various ups and downs, their debut album had a lasting impact on the image of Asia in the field of progressive rock. In the later years, various incarnations of the band came together and continued to release music, with John Wetton being the only constant member until he left the band in the late 1980s. ★ Asia – Asia Tracklist: A1 Heat Of The Moment A2 Only Time Will Tell A3 Sole Survivor A4 One Step Closer A5 Time Again B1 Wildest Dreams B2 Without You B3 Cutting It Fine B4 Here Comes The Feeling Drums, Percussion – Carl Palmer Guitar, Vocals – Steve Howe Keyboards, Vocals – Geoffrey Downes Lead Vocals, Bass Guitar – John Wetton LP / Near Mint more Mint (wonderful) OBI / NM Cover / NM to Mint Insert/ Mint (the pictures and the description are an integral part of the state and the scope of the delivery of the LP or Single) ★★★ Great Prog-Rock "Must Have "!
