It displays a very large (3.4 cm) and lustrous polysynthetic-polytwinned crystals of red color with golden orange hues, sandwiched between white dolomite crystals. You can also see from the back of the specimen there is a more cleiophane core. Truly a superb French alpine classic, considerably hard to find in this quality and size! Discovery by miners in the 1980's.
