Emerson, Lake & Palmer on CD/multichannel DVD - Yezda Urfa on SHM-CD - Emerson, Lake & Palmer / Tarkus / Boris - Multiple titles - Audio CD - 1970

1. Emerson, Lake & Palmer self-titled debut - original album 1970 - is presented here in its definitive edition, in a four-fold digi-pack incl. a 12-page colour booklet on Razor & Tie 7930183347-2 (US 2012), with the remastered original on CD, a second remastered CD with bonus tracks and a new remastered multichannel DVD-Audio. All stereo and multichannel remixes are done by Steven Wilson. For the experts: the DVD 5.1 surround mix is present in Advanced Resolution Surround 48k/24 bits and DTS 5.1 Digital surround, and the new stereo mix is present in Advanced Resolution Stereo 48k/24 bits. 2. "Tarkus" is my favorite album from Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and was originally issued in 1971. Here it is in its definite form, in a four-fold digi-pack incl. a 12-page colour booklet on Razor & Tie 79301833482-2 (US 2012), with the remastered original on CD, a second remastered CD with bonus tracks and a new remastered multichannel DVD-Audio. Again, all stereo and multichannel remixes are done by Steven Wilson. 3. Yezda Urfa was a relatively unknown progressive rock band from the US - and their original album "Boris" dates back to 1975. Yezda Urfa was recently rediscovered, received very positive reviews on progarchives, and now is seen as criminally under-rated, as the band easily lives up to comparisons with Gentle Giant, Yes and Yethro Tull: in short a masterpiece of progrock. This CD - made in Japan 2010 - is a reissued remastered Super High Material (SHM) CD with a papersleeve album cover replica, obi-strip and insert of notes mostly in Japanese. All three items are like new, they come from my personal collection and are basically in Mint condition. The two digipack sleeves of the two ELP media have negligible signs of wear around the corners, still a very solid NM grade. Offers on discogs are from approx. €40 per item.
