Alice Cooper – Muscle Of Love ‘Muscle of Love’ is the seventh studio album by the American rock band Alice Cooper from 1973. It was the last studio album with the original line-up of the Alice Cooper Band before the members went their separate ways for solo projects. The album continues the hard rock and glam rock style that the band was known for, with songs like ‘Big Apple Dreamin“ (Hippo)", "Hard Hearted Alice’ and "Teenage Lament ”74’. One notable aspect of the album is the cover art, which depicts a typical American high school, but with various sexual and violent undertones. In America, therefore, a version with a printed shipping box was released. The music itself deals with themes of love, longing and rebellion and reflects the band's typically theatrical and provocative style. Although ‘Muscle of Love’ has not had the same commercial success as some of the band's earlier albums, it has gained a cult following over the years and is appreciated by fans of classic rock and Alice Cooper alike.
