A true mosaic of terroirs, the Maison Louis Roederer vineyard is divided into 410 parcels that reflect all the diversity of the soils of the Champagne region. The vineyard is in a remarkable state of health. Harvested at full maturity, the grapes give life to a dense, fruity and delicious champagne that harmoniously blends the solar signature with exceptional purity. Winemaking and aging The vinification, carried out under wood for 16% of the wine, is accompanied by weekly agitation of the lees. No malolactic fermentation. This exceptional cuvée benefits from an average of 6 years of aging in the cellars and a rest period of 8 months after disgorgement. The dosage is 8 g/litre. The effervescence is long-lasting, lively and delicate. Smell Subtle and concentrated, the nose reveals notes of citrus compote, candied apricots and honeysuckle. With aeration, the bouquet gains in complexity through tasty fragrances of cocoa beans, toasted hazelnuts and light touches of liquorice and cinnamon.
