Superbe sculpture de Lion en céramique émaillée. 
Stylé: Art Déco.
Belle couleur d'ivoire avec une belle glaçure brillante. Là où la couche de la glaçure est plus épaisse, elle a une nuance bleuâtre. 
Bien qu'elle ne soit pas signée, cette sculpture de qualité a été vraisemblement fabriquée par la faïencerie de Saint Clément.
Cette sculpture antique avec quelques signes de vieillissements dûs à l'âge. Je vous invite à bien observer les photos.

Les sculpteurs utilisaient souvent les sujets animaux  en décoration dans les années 30 du XX ième siecle. Au début les sculptures étaient blanches. Dans les années 40 on a commencé à fabriquer les sculptures de couleurs différentes. Une sculpture  pareille est mentionnée  dans le livre de Patrick Malaureille CRAQUELÉS "Les animaux en céramique 1920-1940".
