Discover the rich history of a company that has been writing about wine for over 90 years and is a symbol of Portugal in the world. WINEMAKER: Ana Urbano. WINE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca e Tinta Roriz. VINIFICATION Wine fermented with partial stemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), subsequently aging in oak wood, in warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. TASTING NOTES Amber colored wine, on the nose it presents complex aromas with notes of spices and hazelnuts, on the palate it is a delicate wine with an interesting retronasal attack accompanied by a pleasant and persistent finish. SERVING It goes wonderfully with desserts made with eggs or nuts, such as almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts. Store in an upright position, in a cool, dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. Consume in moderation.
