Apple - Sealed Rare iPod touch 1st Gen John Lennon 2007 - "Millions of songs in your pocket" Ipod

ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an auction of a very special piece of the history of Apple: a sealed unit of the first generation of the iPod touch, that brought the design of the first generation of the iPhone, with its multi-touch 3,5” screen and its innovative software (iPhone OS 1, iOS 1) to the iPod world in 2007. This new music player gave the users the possibility of downloading a lot of applications, games, music, movies, documents and more contents, apart from using Safari, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Calendar, Calculator, Photos, Videos and most of the functions that the first iPhone included. With the launch of iTunes 7, iPhone 1 and iPod touch 1 were announced with the slogan: “Millions of songs in your pocket”. This unit of 1st Gen iPod touch from 2007 is still sealed in its genuine and never opened box, that in this case came with a picture of an iPod touch playing the song “Imagine” of John Lennon, a very famous British artist and member of The Beatles. “Imagine” was the first song of the 1997 album “Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon”. 10 years later from the release of this official compilation album of John Lennon, Apple decided to show it in the black boxes of the 1st Gen iPod touch of 2007. The first generation of the iPod touch was announced to the world by Steve Jobs in the Apple Music Event of September 2007. You can view Steve Jobs introducing the 1st Gen iPod touch here:

Now, 17 years later from the release of the 1st Gen iPod touch John Lennon, you have the chance of bidding for this completely new unit, still in its sealed and never opened box. It is a vintage electronics collectible, very rare and hard to find. Good luck in the auction!

 IMPORTANT NOTE:

As you can see in the pictures, the seal of this iPod touch has a medium scratch in the front side of the box due to the age of this item, but you can check in the pictures that the seal has never been opened. You can examine with detail each corner of the box and you can see that the seal has never opened. Given that the 1st Gen iPod touch and the 1st Gen iPhone were the first Apple devices (not personal computers) with Internet connection, if this unit has never been opened and turned on, it has not been activated and Apple cannot give an exact purchase date for this serial number 1B802U7314N, but in the rear side of the box says 2007. No sealed 1st Gen iPhones and iPods touch show the purchase date in the Apple Check Coverage service. I have contacted with Apple Customer Service and they have confirmed me that these devices needed to be activated previously in order to show the purchase date in the Apple website.
