Rare & exclusive pair "Deer" Octagonal Kakiemon Bowls - Edo period, early 18th century.
Almost identical bowl was sold by Bonham's/Edinburgh, please see: ASIAN ART
18 March 2020, 11:00 GMT, Edinburgh - LOT1. Sold for £2,805 inc. premium (3,268eur) as for a single bowl.
Both bowls are in good condition. There are no hairlines, there are no chips. Some glaze imperfections as to be expected. Some minor frits on a top. Condition as per provided pictures.
Approx. dimensions,
One bowl: diameter across top rim is 15.40cm (at widest) & height 4.50cm
Second bowl: diameter across top rim is 15.50cm (at widest) & 4.50cm in height.
