Apple ORIGINAL Vintage 24 x 38 "Gandhi" Think Different poster - Computer - poster shipping tube

The lucky Macintosh Apple enthusiast can supplement his/her collection with this ORIGINAL Apple "Think Different" Poster. Again. This is no reproduction! I bought this poster more than 25 years ago. The poster has been rolled-up – and stored in a dark "poster tube" since 1997. // Background Story Steve Jobs had just returned to the struggling company, Apple Computer in 1997. Jobs and Lee Clow had collaborated back in 1984 to launch the MacIntosh. Now was the time to recover the sense of Apple's place in the world of creative users. The TBWA Chiat/Day team said that Apple should be aligned with the creativity of personalities and people making an impact on the twentieth century. The "Think Different" phrase provided an opportunity to celebrate both the creativity of these people but also the distinctiveness of Apple in the computing world, responding to IBM's historic campaign motto, "Think". The campaign was swiftly approved by Apple, then begun with the television commercial, which first ran on Sept. 28 1997, followed by the print ads, billboards and posters. The "Think different" Campaign was an enormous success for Apple. Promotional posters from the campaign were produced in small numbers. They feature the portrait of one historical figure, with a small Apple logo and the words "Think different" in one corner. The posters were produced between 1997 and 1998. FYI: This poster is a Set 1 poster: Amelia Earhart, Alfred Hitchcock; Pablo Picasso, Mahatma Gandhi and Thomas Edison NOTES – There is some little yellowing on some parts, which I couldn't get to show up in the pictures. Although is barely noticeable! And it proves that the poster is an original (and no reproduction); – There are some minimal and almost invisible "paper wrinkles". But when the poster is framed (and consequently smoothed out) these are not visible anymore. I couldn't get to show up the paper wrinkles in the pictures. // PACKAGING & SHIPPING Will be shipped in a "custom" heavy duty poster shipping tube. "One More Thing" – Steve Jobs quote Don't miss this unique opportunity. Great opportunities don't come everyday! Let the bidding begin … for this original "Think Different" poster. "One More Thing" When in doubt, check my positive customer reviews ;) (… because there are some "copycats" out there who copy my style and pretend to be me). However, there is only one "VISENTO"! That's me ;) Bytheway: I also offer vintage computers! Please check my other CataWiki-ads.
