Agatha Christie limited edition - Fountain pen

Among the most popular collections is undoubtedly the Montblanc Writers Edition, created in a limited edition every year since 1992 to celebrate the most illustrious international writers, poets and writers. Below is the complete list, from 1992 to today, of the numerous and varied Montblanc Writers:• Year 1993: Montblanc Agatha Christie. Her body in black resin, finishing details and clip in gilded 925 silver representing a snake, cap surmounted by the white star emblem, "F" nib in 18kt gold, Montblanc and 750 hallmarks, piston filling, length The pen was released in 1993, the year after Hemingway and soon followed in his successful footsteps due to that mix of aesthetic characteristics that clearly recalled the most classic styles of the German company. The appearance is very severe especially when, as in my example, the 925 silver metal parts have developed the typical patina of this metal. The pen is surprising for its weight, it can be felt and made to be felt. Once the hood is removed, the weight obviously decreases, but it remains far from light (given the dimensions) with a tail that makes itself felt and which fortunately does not unbalance it. The dimensions are: closed = 14.2 cm open = 12.7 cm fit = 16.8 cm (really a lot, actually too many... but it's not a pen to wear in my opinion). As mentioned, the snake-shaped clip (with two rubies set), the band on the cap and the tailpiece are in 925 silver, the filling is by piston and the body is in resin. Both in the tail and in the top of the cap there are lines inserted which, in addition to being aesthetic, help the "grip". The nib is in two-tone gold, also characterized by the snake motif and in my case it is F (fine) cut. I am the first owner to ink it, so it is a new nib that will certainly need to be tested on paper, but from the first signs it proves to be of excellent workmanship and with a slight feedback that differs from all the other Montblancs in my possession (much more buttery ). I don't deny it, I like it a lot. Another aspect that I love about this pen is the flared and/or hourglass shape of the handle: uniquely comfortable.
