STORIA/PANORAMICA
Realizzata sulla base della contemporanea 535i, la M5 E34, condivideva con quest'ultima il motore 6 cilindri da 3535 cm³, che fu portato a 315 CV. La M5 E34 era facilmente riconoscibile dalle altre Serie 5, per via dei cerchi sportivi da 17", dell'assetto sportivo e dei paraurti con spoiler e prese d'aria. Le prestazioni della M5 E34 erano notevoli: la velocità massima era autolimitata a 250 km/h e l'accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h avveniva in 6,2 secondi. Questo esemplare è stato consegnato nuovo in Germania e registrato in Italia nel 1990. 

ESTERNO
La carrozzeria esterna è nel colore originale "Sebring-grau metallic" ed è molto solida senza ruggine passante.
Il colore originale ha ricevuto alcune riverniciature parziali in passato e si presenta con alcuni segni del tempo e di normale usura, è presentabile e utilizzabile e un trattamento di lucidatura è stato appena completato. I rari cerchi sono originali e tipici delle prime M5.

Il sottoscocca è in belle condizioni, generalmente solido e senza tracce di incidenti.

INTERNO
Gli interni sono dell'originale colore nero e il cruscotto è sano e completo dei suoi strumenti e dettagli rari. La moquette è ancora l'originale di fabbrica, un lavaggio e igienizzazione completa è stata appena eseguita, tuttavia in alcuni punti la pelle è indurita dal tempo. Il kit attrezzi è presente (vedi foto).

MECCANICA
Meccanicamente l'auto è stata recentemente riattivata dopo essere rimasta inutilizzata dal 2010 con una pulizia completa delle linee benzina e degli iniettori. L'auto adesso si accende e si può guidare, la frizione e il cambio funzionano, tuttavia un controllo completo è necessario prima di guidare l'auto su strada, i freni sono da restaurare ma non bloccati. Un test di compressione del motore ha dato ottimi risultati, vedi foto.


Un controllo elettrico è necessario per l'illuminazione, il tettino e le serrature.  A/C non funzionante.
