This brilliant original ink drawing by Jordi David Redo pays homage to the legendary Francisco Ibáñez (1936–2023), the genius behind Mortadelo y Filemón (Clever & Smart in Germany). Redo, a longtime collaborator of Ibáñez, worked on the iconic comic series for over two decades, playing a crucial role in its artistic legacy.

In this hilarious and action-packed scene, Mortadelo appears disguised as Conan the Barbarian, complete with his sword, signature headband, and necklace, in a medieval village setting. With his usual clumsiness, he fiercely chases a tiny mouse that has stolen a handful of gold coins, turning what should be an epic adventure into an absurd and comedic moment.

This black-and-white original artwork was created by Jordi David Redo, a Spanish cartoonist who worked for Disney Publishing in Denmark (Gutenberghus/Egmont Group) and collaborated in the Danish “Donald Duck” magazine for thirty years illustrating numerous stories. Some of these works were also published in the German “Micky Maus” magazine.

This exceptional piece comes directly from Redo’s personal collection, hand-signed by the artist, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
