Statuetta Moai di buona fattura proveniente dalla lontana Isola di Pasqua nell’oceano Pacifico.
Queste statue,originariamente scolpite dalla popolazione indigena polinesiana Rapa Nui fanno parte di aree cerimoniali situate tra i villaggi e la costa normalmente volgendo le spalle al mare.Come le originali (di dimensioni molto più grandi) anche questa statuetta è stata scolpita da un unico blocco di tufo vulcanico.Sul dorso presenta,sempre fedelmente alle originali,incisi simboli in rongorongo,in particolare la falce detta “vaka”che potrebbe rappresentare una canoa e generalmente i simboli incisi indicano l’identità dell’artista o scultore dell’ opera.
Oggetto raro per collezionisti.Peso 447g, verrà spedito con adeguato imballo e numero di tracciamento postale.
