Il QD-4480 è un amplificatore di potenza a quattro canali in grado di pilotare carichi da 4Ω. La loro qualità del suono pulito li rende ideali per l'installazione permanente in sistemi PA professionali o per l'uso portatile per esibizioni dal vivo. Progettati principalmente per l'uso multi-zona come nei bar e nei ristoranti, dove è richiesto un controllo separato della musica in diverse aree, questi progetti possono essere applicabili per l'uso in qualsiasi situazione in cui sono richiesti un certo numero di amplificatori a bassa potenza, come per cue-feed, effetti-altoparlanti, esposizioni museali ecc. Sono disponibili tre modelli; ciascuno combina quattro amplificatori a bassa impedenza separati in un singolo contenitore montato su rack 2U. Ogni amplificatore è dotato di un connettore di ingresso bilanciato XLR/TRS "Combo" individuale, di un controllo di livello con LED di presenza e clip associati e di terminali di uscita per altoparlanti a 5 vie. Per una maggiore versatilità, un selettore di ingresso consente di pilotare ciascuna coppia di amplificatori separatamente (stereo), con ingressi in parallelo (dual mono) o a ponte in mono. I limitatori di clip sono forniti su ciascun canale per aiutare a prevenire la distorsione dovuta a livelli di segnale eccessivi. Tutte le unità sono dotate di circuiti di protezione soft-start e sono dotate di indicatori di alimentazione, segnale, protezione e clip sul pannello frontale. Questi amplificatori sono raffreddati a ventola con protezione del circuito e ritardo di accensione. Gli amplificatori della serie quad sono alimentati a 100-120VAC o 220-240VAC 50/60Hz (a seconda delle esigenze del paese).

The QD-4480 is a four-channel power amplifier capable of driving loads from 4Ω. Its clean sound quality makes it ideal for permanent installation in professional PA systems or for portable use in live performances. Primarily designed for multi-zone use such as in bars and restaurants, where separate control of music in different areas is required, these designs can be applicable for use in any situation where a number of low-power amplifiers is needed, such as for cue-feed, effects speakers, museum exhibitions, etc. Three models are available; each combines four separate low-impedance amplifiers in a single 2U rack-mounted enclosure. Each amplifier features an individual balanced XLR/TRS "Combo" input connector, a level control with associated presence and clip LEDs, and 5-way speaker output terminals. For added versatility, an input selector allows each pair of amplifiers to be driven separately (stereo), with parallel inputs (dual mono), or bridged in mono. Clip limiters are provided on each channel to help prevent distortion due to excessive signal levels. All units are equipped with soft-start protection circuits and have power, signal, protection, and clip indicators on the front panel. These amplifiers are fan-cooled with circuit protection and power-on delay. The quad series amplifiers are powered by 100-120VAC or 220-240VAC 50/60Hz (depending on the country's requirements).
