D:\ LUDOV MANIN S N D MUNUS COMUNIT MURIANNI, on the inner circle: ZORZI BALBI P DOM COLONA; the coat of arms of the Doge is on top of the plinth. On the sides, there are the symbols of the Podestà and the Chamberlain. On the bottom, there is the Murano rooster.

R:\ ANT PIZZOCARO AL MORO BORT PIAVE TOMMASO BARBINI; seals of the four deputies; on the bottom DEPUTA AN 1790.

The oselle were coin-medallions that were issued yearly by the Doge as Christmas gifts to the most important families of the Serenissima. The island of Murano also had the ability to coin oselle with their own seals in very limited quantities (100 pieces per year).

Note: Exceptionally rare coins (R4) with very few known coins. Probably from a jewellery setting. Certified by Andrea Paolucci (NIP member).
