Unique military R. Fuess Berlin-Steglitz compass ca. 1930 WW2.
Unique R. Fuess Berlin-Steglitz compass made around 1930 and used by the infantry forces of the Wehrmacht until 1945. The number is still well readable; 32350. Made of aluminium, black finished execution.
On the back is a fold-out ruler and on the inside is a steel mirror. The compass still works quite right including the small button on the front with which the hand could be fixated.
The compass is made in the famous factory of R. Fuess (factory for scientific and precision instruments based in Berlin/Steglitz. Fuess during the second world war produced the compass under the name ' Marschkompass '.
