For Sale is a verified original and authentic WW2 Fallschirmjäger or Luftwaffe Parachute Troops Badge (Fallschirmschützenabzeichen) made by B&NL complete with it's original box of issue. This is a post 1942 version made of a zinc alloy with the gilded eagle and silvered wreath. The hinge and catch are in their original state though do show some signs of tarnish or rust. The high points of the eagle and wreath show some signs of colour loss. Both the rust and colour loss are typical for a badge of this age and would indicate that the badge has been worn as well. This badge was awarded to soldiers of the Luftwaffe after completion of parachute training and the required number of six jumps.
