Dimensions of the painting 70 x 85 cm. Harry (Henri Frans Hubert) Maas was born in Nederweert on July 23, 1906 and started his career at the Eindhoven sketch club. He also joins the Zuid-Nederlandsche Onafpendenen, founded by Johannes Nicolaas Jr. in 1934. In 1940 he became a member of the Bredasche Kunstkring with other people from Eindhoven. After the Second World War he exhibited as a member of Kunstkring De Kempen. Harry Maas painted cityscapes, portraits, trains, flower still lifes, landscapes.
