Elegant basket with a removable handle, made in silver filigree likely in the small town of Campo Ligure (near Genoa, in Italy), in the early 20th century. Filigree is a delicate kind of jewellery metalwork imitating the arabesque, made with tiny gold or silver threads, arranged in artistic motifs.
