Nice 100% original WW2 EARLY USA Dog tags, with the quite difficult to find first pattern plastic chains. The dog tags are named to Curtis P Cook and also include the orig. army name tag for service in the US Army ; the name badge is marked Utica NW on the back and the pin is fully functional. The dogtags are of the so-called ''Next of kin'' type, where the adress of the dependent (e.g., mother, father, or wife) was present on the dog tags. He was born in 1900 in Alabama and enlisted in August 1942. I dont know when he passed away or where he exactly served, as i dont have the time to research all items. This would be great for the buyer to research. The chain is broken but this seems to be deliberately done long time ago, as he made sure the dog tags couldnt fall of because he put some metal there. So i assume this was already done during WW2. A beautiful, untouched set of early war dogtags with a great patina. This would look great in any WW2 US display.
