The Electric Prunes - I-Had-Too-Much-To-Dream-Luvin / ★★★ Only On Catawiki Unique Test Press 1966 In Great Condition ★★★ - Disco de vinilo único - Disco maestro - 1966

The Electric Prunes (test press) -were an American psychedelic rock band that became known in the 1960s. The band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1965 and was part of the emerging psychedelic rock scene of the time. Their best-known song is "I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night)," which was released in 1966 and became a huge hit. This song stood out for its psychedelic soundscape and distinctive guitar work. The Electric Prunes' lineup changed over the years, but some of the original members included James Lowe (vocals), Ken Williams (lead guitar), Mark Tulin (bass), Preston Ritter (drums), and James "Weasel" Spagnola (rhythm guitar) . Their music was characterized by distorted guitars, echoing vocals and experimental sound collages that were typical of the psychedelic rock era. Although the Electric Prunes peaked in the late 1960s, they released several albums, including "The Electric Prunes" (1967), "Underground" (1967), and "Mass in F Minor" (1968). The latter album was an unusual project produced by David Axelrod and featured a mix of rock music and classical music. Despite their creative approach and some hits, the Electric Prunes didn't stay together long and disbanded in the early 1970s. The Electric Prunes are now best known for their role in the history of psychedelic rock and have a place in 1960s pop culture history. Their influential sound influenced many later generations of rock musicians, and their songs are still treasured by lovers of the era.
