This would ordinarily be an undesirable edition, but this particular copy has been enriched with a fore edge painting, and with a small hand colouring of the illustration of Dickens to the front board. Faux leather covers with gilt titles. A touch of bumping to the edges only. Attractive embellishment of the embossed portrait of Dickens. Internally clean and tidy throughout. 414 pages. Attractive fore edge painting showing Tiny Tim being carried on Bob Cratchitt's back through a snowy street scene. 175 by 115mm (7 by 4½ inches).
