A lovely set of handmade Japanese wooden dolls created by Takeda, Masashi (1930-2015)
Estimated to be at least 50 years old, they are both in excellent shape, no damages at all.
Only the original colour of the wood has darkened into a beautiful golden patina over time.
Both kokeshi are typical of Takeda's style and have a very cute appearance.
The slight carvings of the face and hair give this couple a very special touch.
Sizes: 9 x 6 x 6 cm.
