Characterized by a cold and wet start to the year, followed by a cloudy spring, the vegetation of this vintage was delayed. The summer brought record amounts of sunshine and contributed to optimal development of the grapes. The rains in early September, followed by an easterly wind, ensured healthy vineyards and enabled a late harvest from September 28th to October 15th. These climatic conditions led to an ideal balance between acidity and fullness and offered an exceptional variety of aromas.
