His woodblock works are all handmade by the traditional Japanese Baren.
Kunio Kaneko's purpose is "Neo Japan Art" which is very traditional Japanese but reflects global and modern views. Famous for his tecnique with Gold and Silver metallic background and effect.
Born : 1949. Hiroshima , Japan
Education : Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design; studied under Yoshida Hodaka and Kato Kiyomi
Collections : Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, Portland Museum of Art, Oregon City Museum, USA; Sado Hangamura Museum, Niigata
