Saul Hudson (Hampstead, July 23, 1965), known by the pseudonym Slash, is a British-American musician. He is the lead guitarist for the American rock band Guns N 'Roses, in which he played from 1985 to 1996 and which he returned in 2016. In the meantime, he formed Slash's Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver, along with former Guns N 'Roses bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. His debut album as a solo artist, simply called Slash, was released in 2010. This solo project was continued with Apocalyptic Love (2012), World on Fire (2014) and Living the Dream (2018).
