天法鍔(てんぽうつば)-Tsba de hierro con incrustaciones de latón Tenpo - Hierro (fundido), Latón - Japón - Periodo Edo tardío

In nice original conditions with some minor traces of age. *Tenpo Tsuba It is said that its roots date back to the late Sengoku period when the Saotome clan of armor makers started it in Odawara, Soshu (present-day Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture). The family spread throughout the country, and ``Tenpo Tsuba'' were also produced in Kyoto and the Hitachi region (present-day northeastern Ibaraki Prefecture). Kotenpo tsuba is an iron plate tsuba with a hammered finish in the style of Myochin Nobuya, with characters such as wind, heaven, and earth, as well as flower markings, carved into it. Brass inlays like Onin tsuba can also be seen. The overall roughness stands out. Also, there are very few pieces that have the inscription that this is the Kotenpo tsuba. Generally, what is called Tenpo Tsuba refers to a tsuba with letters or engravings engraved on the uneven, rough, hammered iron surface. The existing pieces were made around the end of the Edo period, and are mostly practical Itatsuba with inscriptions such as ``Sanada Tenpo'' and ``Sanada Tenpo.'' Size: approximately 8.2*8.2*cm x 0.8cm Customs information Antique items have originally crease, stain, damage, and more. I would like you to refer to the listing photos, but please understand that it's difficult to show all conditions by the photos. Any other costs or charges such as customs or import duties, customs clearance and handling may also apply during the shipment of your lot and will be charged to you by the involved party at a later stage if applicable. Please understand!
