The canvas is in perfect condition, not damaged nor scratched. This painting comes without a frame. This artwork is painted by Monique Bisscheroux in 1996 as a present for a Dutch friend. During that period Bisscheroux attented the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht and still is - to this day - a successful artist. Monique Bisscheroux: "You will always see me paint women and girls, while capturing the emotions and the personality beneath their sensual or hardened exteriors. Women intrigue, again and again, they amaze and haunt me. While working, personal memories, early black and white photographs as images from today's media are my source of inspiration. Typical pictorial elements as color and texture, layer over layer, are my tools in the creation of meaningful images. You will notice that all paintings are telling their own story that will be captured and will relate to any viewer's emotion. So, no titles with my art work to stimulate all individuals to find their own content.
