The book tells us in detailed and uncomplicated language how the system works, starting with individual Lodges and its Officers and progressing through to Provinces and Grand Lodge. In it we can learn about the origin and aims of our great Charities, which are currently undergoing rationalisation in the light of the Bagnall Report, and I regard Introducing Freemasonry as one of the best and most comprehensive reference books on the Craft which is available to us all.
