With a booklet intitled ''Wildlifoodin'' In the summer of 2006 Lucas Foglia began photographing people who, having left the big cities, decided to live in the countryside of the Southeastern United States. Reasons for such “migration” include concern about environmental conditions, religious issues, or predictions of impending economic collapse. Lucas photographed these people as they try to work for their livelihoods.
