The precision model cars from Franklin Mint / Danbury Mint were assembled by hand from more than 200 small individual parts. Normal models have around 40 individual parts. Due to the 1:24 scale (models are approx between 19 and 25 cm long), the very finely and filigree collectible model cars fit perfectly in showcases, where they look very decorative. Many different materials were used for these high-quality collector's models (carpets made of textiles, etc.).
