Antigua Roma Ágata Amuleto bandeado con el Aigipan mitológico

Finely carved of orange banded agate in the shape of the mythological creature Aigipan, its front body of a ram and back body of a long fish with dolphin tail. AIGIPAN (or Aegipan) was one of the goat-footed gods known as Panes. When the gods fled from the monstrous giant Typhoeus and hid themselves in animal form, Aigipan assumed the form of a fish-tailed goat.
