The lamp features a broad, carinated body with a projecting spout, a large filler hole, and a D-shaped handle with a decorative thumb rest. The Seljuks, a prominent medieval Turkic dynasty, emerged in the 11th century from the steppes of Central Asia. The foundation of the dynasty was laid by Tughril Beg, and it gained prominence across a vast expanse, including regions of Anatolia, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
