Pronounced Finnish translation:
Bronze and steel sculpture by Spanish sculptor Pancho Porto, edition of 25 numbered and signed pieces.
Pancho Porto (Santiago de Compostela, 1988) began his training in the specialty of artistic carpentry at the Antonio Failde center in Ourense. At this school he first encountered disciplines such as carving, drawing or modeling, and what is more important, working in the workshop.
Later he enrolls in the Mestre Mateo School of Arts and Crafts in Santiago de Compostela, where he studies what will later become his main discipline: sculpture. It is at this school where he already works with materials that will be basic in his work, such as steel or clay. In parallel, Porto continues his training personally and investigates other materials such as bronze or resins and their multiple uses and finishes.
After this initial stage of training, he decides to set up his workshop on the banks of the Sarela river, very close to where he was born. It is here that he begins his particular theoretical and practical investigation of the relationship between the materials used in each work and the message they convey. This leads him to seek new proposals when communicating and narrating his story. Since then, this has been the regular tone of his works, thus giving complexity and background to his entire body of work, with themes that touch both the social sphere and his personal experiences.

- Auditorio Cangas do Morrazo.
