STATEMENT:

Tämä abstrakti maalaus, tehty vuonna 2026, tutkii liikkeen ja liikkumattomuuden jännitteitä nykyaikaisessa elämässä. Kerroksellisten akryyligestien parissa työskentelevä Alessandro Criscito tallentaa energiset liikkeet ja pysäyttää ne kankaalle, muuttaen liikkeen pohdiskelun tilaksi. Tuloksena on pinta, jolla intensiteetti ja hiljaisuus coexist, kutsuen katselijaa hidastamaan tahtia ja sitoutumaan nykyhetkeen. Nopeuden ja ylikuormituksen maailmassa teokseni ehdottaa tietoista tekoa: pysähtyä, tunnistaa liike ja sieltä käsin asettua hiljaisuuteen. Ei representaatioa, vaan maalaaminen pyrkii luomaan kokemuksen - mahdollisuuden palata nykyhetkeen ja pohtia oman elämänsä tahtia.

Tämä teos tulee suoraan taiteilijan studiolta Italiasta. Alessandro Criscito’n työt ovat olleet esillä Design Milkissa (USA), ArchDailyssa (Meksiko), Yanko Designessa (Japani), TrendHunterissa (Kanada), Experimentaassa (Espanja) ja La Revue du Designissa (Ranska).
