Farkas Viktoria

From Office Files to Times Square: Viktoria Farkas’s Journey in Light Viktoria Farkas’s artistic journey is proof that it is never too late to reinvent yourself. Until recently, she worked in an office environment, but in 2020 she embarked on a life-changing adventure to the United States. Her mission was twofold: to master a new language and to dive deep into the world of photography. Trading her office chair for a camera, she made New York City her classroom. She had the privilege of learning from renowned masters such as Lindsay Adler and connecting with professionals like Norbi Bánhalmi. What started as a search for new possibilities quickly turned into a true calling. Her breakthrough moment came when one of her photographs was selected by the Art Square NY gallery to be displayed on a giant billboard in Times Square, a long way from the office files where she started. This passion has taken her from hunting for lighthouses in Maine to chasing waterfalls in Watkins Glen, eventually leading to the publication of her visual autobiography, Lens and Life, featuring her 100 favorite black-and-white images. Today, based in Budapest but available worldwide, Viktoria sees photography as more than a skill: it is her true love language and the way she connects with the world.
