Sell your special objects in four simple steps
Complete your personal profile by choosing a username, filling in your address and uploading a copy of your ID. You can also register for seller privileges free of charge.
Select which auction you want to offer up your lot to. You can then add clear photos and a description of your lot. Once your lot has been approved and scheduled for auction, you will receive a message from the auctioneer to let you know.
All lots start at €1/£1. This encourages people to bid. Objects that start selling from this low price see much more activity, and ultimately end up selling for higher prices. For lots with a minimum estimated value of €200, it’s possible to add a reserve price. If your lot’s reserve price hasn’t been met once the auction ends, your lot will not be sold and you don’t have to pay any commission.
Catawiki acts as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller to provide secure payments. The winner of the lot pays directly to Catawiki. The seller is not required to send the object to the buyer until Catawiki confirms that the payment has been made. It is always free to list your lots, you will only pay a fee when your lots are sold.
It is always free to submit your lots, the fee will only be charged once your lot is sold
