"The Leica Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 is widely regarded as one of the most elegant and practical short telephoto lenses in the Leica M system. It combines the classical strengths of Leica lens design—mechanical refinement, compact form, and understated optical confidence—with the highly versatile perspective of a 90mm focal length. For many photographers and collectors, it represents an especially well-balanced telephoto option within the Leica M lineup.

What makes the Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 especially appealing is the way it offers a true short telephoto perspective without the added size and weight often associated with faster portrait lenses. This gives it a particularly attractive balance of portability, usability, and visual sophistication. It is well suited to portraiture, travel, detail work, and any situation where a more selective field of view is desired while preserving the compact handling expected from Leica M equipment.

In black finish, the lens carries an even stronger visual and collector presence while maintaining the restrained elegance that defines classic Leica M gear. Because of this combination of practical focal length, compact design, and enduring Leica character, the Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 continues to attract strong interest among serious Leica users and collectors alike.

Offered here is a beautiful Leica Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 lens in black finish, a highly desirable classic short telephoto lens for the Leica M system.
