Church's Kingsley Tassel Loafers in Walnut Nevada Leather

The Church's Kingsley is a sophisticated take on the classic tassel loafer, distinguished by its sleek lines and the exceptional quality of the Nevada leather. This model is part of Church’s prestigious lineage, offering a more refined, contemporary alternative to the chunkier heritage styles.

Product Details

Model: Kingsley (often referred to as Kingsley 2 in newer collections).

Size: 7 UK

Leather: Walnut Nevada Calf Leather. Nevada leather is a signature Church’s material known for its distinctive natural grain and "cloud-like" color depth, achieved through a specialized hand-dyeing process.

Style: Tassel loafer with an almond-shaped toe and skip-lacing details around the collar.

Construction: Traditional Goodyear Welt. This allows the shoe to be completely resoled by a specialist, ensuring they last for decades with proper care.

Sole: Full leather sole with a stacked leather heel.

Interior: Fully lined in soft calf leather for breathability and comfort.

Origin: Handcrafted in Northampton, England.

Size & Fit Advice
The Kingsley is typically built on the 126 last or the 173 last (depending on the specific version), which provides a sleek, elegant profile.

Standard British Sizing: Church's uses UK sizing. For a US conversion, you generally need to go one full size down (e.g., a US 10 is a Church's UK 9).

Width (Fitting): The most common width is "F" (Standard). If you have wider feet, look for a "G" (Wide) fitting, which is frequently available for this model.

Loafer Fit: As a slip-on, the Kingsley should feel snug across the bridge of the foot (instep) initially. The Nevada leather is softer than Church’s "Polished Binder" leather, so the break-in period is typically shorter and more comfortable.

Our Recommendation: Stick to your true UK size. If the heel slips when you walk, the shoe is too large; if it pinches the toes, you may need a wider "G" fitting rather than a larger size.

Care Tip for Nevada Leather
To maintain the unique "Walnut" patina, avoid using heavy waxes. Instead, use a high-quality neutral or light brown cream to nourish the leather without masking the natural tonal variations that make Nevada leather so special.
