RUDOLF FRANZ LEHNERT (1878-1948) & ERNST HEINRICH LANDROCK (1878-1966) 1904 they opened a studio and shop in Tunis. Lehnert was the photographer and Landrock the business man. Lehnert photographed tradition life, people, nude women and girls, craftsman, traditional architecture and landscapes. Their business were very professional and they started just at the time when "Orientalism" was very fashionable in Europe. The negatives (large glass plates) were shipped to Dresden. There the large bromure prints were printed as well as the heliogravures and hundreds of different postcards.
